Object Property Modification in QTP is used to address the change issue of property faced in PREVIOUS TUTORIAL section. Just study that PREVIOUS TUTORIAL before this one:-

1. You definitely identify that script execution has been slows down due to smart identification which can not acceptable and desirable.
2. Default object identification properties can be changed due to avoid the smart identification.
3. Object Identification in QTP, “name” can be remove from the required / mandatory properties and can be replace with “html id” to generate our solid test independent to changes in name.
4. Same steps can be re-record for the script.
5. Ok, Name change with “Submit” to “Login” and then execute the script, Now script will run without any smart identification.
6. Same thing, in application under test scenarios if any of mandatory or required or assertive properties frequently change for any object then you can renew this with some any other appropriate property to enable faster execution of script.
7. This type of property tweaking is a game field of experience and anyone can pick it up as you old or experienced with this tool.
