Live Example of Test Plan:

i.                    Our previous tutorials have already explained that there are more than 100 types of testing types and this is not possible to test application with all these types.

vii.              Now need to confirm the risk priority which risk can be on high priority and which is on low priority. We can identify it by scaling 1-10.

viii.            Identifying the risk is not enough we need to find the solutions for these also.

ix.                Next one is Product Risk, if we need to upload the changes on test server for Railway Reservation application then it is not possible so this will called product risk.

x.                  In this risk solution can be found by either smoke or sanity testing. We can perform one of them to improvement.

TEST PLAN STRUCTURE

xi.                We can say it the risk based strategy of testing. There is lot of techniques for testing for your selection, but we need to select only suitable and appropriate technique to save time for budgeted work.

xii.              Performance testing required for multiple cases but not required for everywhere like Train Reservation System.

So we can say that test plan is the already decided strategy which includes the information about the Schedule, Test Estimates, Testing Techniques, Test Team and so on.

 Test plan generally control the maintenance of progress of different – 2 testing activities and co –operates to take monitoring the actions if there is any difference, deviations from the planned activities.
