the Difference between Bitmap Check point & Image Check point
?
Pixel to Pixel
comparison has been made by Bitmap
checkpoint of part of an image or
any full image.
Image Checkpoint
will also do the pixel to pixel comparison but it did not do the
compare image properties like destination url, alt text etc

Bitmap Checkpoint Test
- Bitmap checkpoint is used to test an area of a website page or an application after capturing it as a bitmap so that it can be compared with the actual bitmap and the expected.
You can generate the bitmap test using
“Bitmap Checkpoint” (Insert > Checkpoint > Bitmap Check
point)
Image Checkpoint Test
- Image check point is used to test the “Property Values” of any image. We can test different properties like image type, destination address etc.
- We can generate an image check point using the standard checkpoint on object of any image.
