Steps to Change Gas

Actually transferring
gas agency is just a 2 step process.
1. Get
your voucher form the current agency ( suppose Hp )
2. Submit
that voucher to your new gas agency ( to Indane or other )
Get your Voucher from
Current Agency :
To get your voucher you
need to contact your current agency and start the process. As you initiate your
transfer, then you have to wait for at least 3 days. Then follow these steps to
complete your process.

2 : Then remove your gas regulator from cylinder, you have to show it
while applying for transfer.

3 : Now get all the original documents of your gas connection, id
proof and a address proof as well. Have a photocopy of your gas passbook
details as well, this photocopy must have details like Customer Name, Consumer
number, and Amount paid, Agency Name, No of Cylinder etc. All these are helpful
for you to prove your identity.
· Step
4 : After this write a application letter for transferring your gas
agency. Please mention your consumer number, old address and new address (
where you want to transfer ) in this letter.
· Step
5 : Submit all these ( Regulator, Cylinder, Document and Letter ) to
your current gas agency, one thing to note that, the person who holds the gas
connection needs to go to submit all these details.
· Step
6 : Then agency will give you your Gas voucher for transfer. Take it
and go to your new gas agency.
Submit that Voucher to
Your New Gas Agency :
Now you have done half
of your job. As you get your voucher you can shift your home and then follow
these steps for new gas connection in new agency.

· Step
1 : Take 1 address proof of your new house, the address
proof may be your employer id, power of attorney or any bill. If you are moving
to a rental house then you can use your rent agreement as an address proof.
· Step
2 : With address proof, you will need 1 identity proof a well to apply
for new gas connection.
· Step
3 : Submit the photocopies of both these proofs at that agency where
you want to apply for connection. They may take your 15 minutes to start the
process, with that you may has to pay some transfer money ( Rs. 50 – 60,
depends on location ).
· Step
4 : As the company completes their work, they issues you a new gas
voucher and your consumer number as well. After receiving your consumer number,
you cans start refilling your cylinder.
