Computer Processor is a
micro chip, which completes a logic circuit, like other parts of computer it
also connected to CPU. A computer processor processes all the information given
by computer software. There are many people who think CPU as a processor but
processor is just a main part of CPU and it is know as to grow the speed of

How Computer Processor
Works :
As you know that
processor is a main part of computer because it plays a main role in its
working. To work, processor takes data from RAM or other programs of computer,
and then reads, writes and processes all those data as the input given to
computer. After processing all data, processor again sends all information to
RAM. Then RAM gives this information back to computer in an order and shows
output.
Computer processor has capability
to process machine languages codes as well, and to do this our computer uses 3
machine languages which helps in operating CPU.
- Logical
Unit language depends on selection and gives new orders.
- Arithmetical
Logical Unit processes all the mathematical information.
- There
is another language as well which helps in carrying data from one place to

To process all these processor uses the address bus, by which it sends information to computer memory and data. Not just this CPU has a watch to operate all the necessary
information, with that this watches works as a reminder and helps in the
management of data.

Processor :
The computer processor
works with both RAM ( Random Access Memory ) and ROM ( Read Only Memory ),
where ROM works permanently with computer and helps in starting up computer. In
ROM, we can’t change or edit data, with that it can process data even in shut
down computer. While we can edit data in RAM but you can’t store any data permanently
in RAM, with that it stops working as computer shuts down.
