1. Vamavrat
Shell : This shell must use only for worship because people believes
that Lord Vishnu lives in it, with that is looks like Lord Vishnu as well.
2. Dakshinavrat
Shell : Dakshinavrat shell is mostly used for playing, you can use it
to anoint God Goddess. There are many other ceremonies as well where you can
use this shell like marriages.
How to Worship Shankh :
The prayer room must
clean and purify before prayer, for this you need to take water in your hand 3
times, and then have Lawn grass, Rise and Flowers on the same hand and think about
shell. Now worship to Lord Pundrikaksh and offer some flowers. Then sprinkle
the shell water over everyone. This is said that shell water can remove every
sin.
