-    1 Balloon

-    1 CD or DVD

-    Sketch Pen

-    Rubber

-    Tape

-    Fevi Kwik

Process of Making Hovercraft :

·         Step 1 : First of all, make a hole in the rubber and then fit it in the round hole of CD or DVD. Make sure that rubber should not move and for this you can use Fevi Kwik also.

·         Step 2 : Now take an empty sketch pen cap and fix it in the hole of rubber but remember the cap should not pass the CD hole completely.

·         Step 3 : After this take sketch pen and remove everything from inside it, with that remove its back cover as well and place a balloon in place of it. Use tape to fix the balloon well.

Working Hovercraft Model

·         Step 4 : Fill air in balloon from the other side of sketch pen and then place it over the sketch pen cover ( that you fixed on CD ).

You will see that the air that is coming out of the balloon is pressuring CD in such a way that CD is rising upwards from the ground, while the air that is coming out of the sides of CD is making it moving forward and backward means that air is making CD or hovercraft moving. Real hovercrafts works on the same principle and due to not completely contacted with the ground it runs easily over any surface.
