Floppy
Floppy is the first
device to store and share data for computer, but the main drawback of floppy is
that it has a small storage space, that’s why CD overtake it. In Floppy, every
data stores in a circular magnetically plate, from this plate floppy reads and
writes every data information. It looks like a small audio cassette tape of

) :

that part of computer hardware which reads the data from Floppy Disk and then
projects it to computer desktop. 3.5” and 5.25” are the two most used Floppy

· Drive
Motor : This is just a small motor, which connects with the metallic
parts of floppy at center. With that it circulates 300 to 360 times in a
minute.
· Stepper
Motor : This is the other motor to read and write the data, you can
see it clearly, with that it keeps the both head on their place. Both these

· Mechanical
Frame : It opens the protected window of floppy disk, so that floppy
can eject by clicking only 1 button. For this manufacturer uses a spring in it
which helps in opening the frame of floppy drive.
· Circuit
Board : This connects the all electronic parts and completes the
circuit as well, so that all the floppy part can do their work smoothly. With
that it manages the stepper mother as well.
