( High Speed Packet Access ) :
HSPA is the advanced
technology of 3G ( HSDPA + HSUPA ), that means it is a technology which uses
both HSDPA and HSUPA.
Difference Between GSM,
CDMA and WCDMA :
§ GSM (
Global System for Mobile Communications ) : It is a 2G featured SIM
slot which permits voice, data transfer and internet services at the speed of
500 kbps.
§ CDMA (
Code Division Multiple Access ) : It can support only GSM 2G, with
that it can use the other technology of GSM as well. CDMA uses some frequency
spectrum at the rate of 900 MHz and 1900 MHz.
§ WCDMA (
Wideband CDMA ) : This technology works on 3G network, that provides
voice and data services at a higher data rate than the 2G.
