Steps to Link Aadahr Card to PAN Card :

·         Step 1 : To link your Aadhar Card and PAN Card, you need to open E-Filling website first, for this copy this link ( https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ ) and then paste and search.

·          Step 2 : As you opens the E-Filling website then you gets all the options related to Income Tax. From than you will see Link Aadhar ( New ) option in Services on the left side. Click on it.

·         Step 3 : Now you will be taken to a new page, whose title will be Link Aadhaar, with that there will be some others option as well below. You need to fill and submit all the information asked in these area to link your PAN to Aadhaar.

·         Step 4 : Option of Link Aadhaar –

-    PAN : Add your PAN Card Number in the first option.

-    Aadhaar Number : Similarly add your Aadhaar Number in the second option.

-    Name as per AADHAAR : In the third option, you need to add your name as printed on your Aadhaar Card. Remember don’t mistake in spelling otherwise your application will be rejected and your PAN will not be linked.

-    I have only year of birth in Aadhaar Card : Check this box, if your Aadhar Card has your Birth year only in place of your complete Date of Birth.

-    Captcha Code Image : Now you will see an image of numbers and English letters, if you found that image blur than you can change it or if you want to hear the number and letters written in this image than you can hear it as well.

-    Enter the Code as in above Image : You need to fill captcha number and letters in here and then click on the Link Aadhar given in Green colour. Your application will be submitted and a message will be pop up for you which says that “ Aadhaar PAN linking is Completed Successfully ”.

-    Visually Challenged users can use the below OTP option instead of image captcha, Request OTP : Those persons who are blind and can’t see the Captcha Code the can click on Request OTP ( One Time Password ) and then link their Aadhaar and PAN Card. Remember, the OTP will be sent to that mobile number which is registered with your Aadhar and PAN Card. After this you can click on Link Aadhar.

If you want to see whether your Aadhar Card is linked to PAN Card or not, then you need to fill all the information again and try to link your aadhar to pan card again. If your aadhar and PAN is already linked then it shows you a message “ Your PAN is already Linked to the given Aadhar Number ”.
