There are lots of stories related to Jove or Garuda, but on is most famous which is related to Ramayana.

-          According to this story a Garuda Name Jataiyu lost his life to save the wife of Lord Rama from Devon King Ravan and Jataiyu’s brother helps Hanuman to navigate Devi Sita towards Lanka.

-          In other story, when Rama was fighting with Meghnath then, Meghnath releases Naagpash, due to which many snakes comes in battle field, but Lord Rama pray to Kind Garuda, who takes off all the snakes from the battlefield and the resume war.

-          In ancient scriptures you can see that Garuda is a vehicle for Lord Vishnu.
