TEST 1 — Installation | |

STEPS For TEST | |
Require to Use a files manager to note the free space of user available on the phones., Before starting the test round, We shall require this information in 8th test. | |
1 | Install the applications being tested. The applications must install without any type of bug or error. |
2 | During this installation note the number of version provided to the user. The number of version must be matched that specified during sub-mission. |
3 | Validate that the applications have successfully installed on the devices by navigating to the area on the phones where new applications are installed. The application should show one or more icon(s) on the phones. |
Notes | |
For any type of submission which don't appear obviously once installed, the submitter must contain detail in the statement of submission how successful installation can be verified. If the content doesn't appear really on the devices once installed, and specific instruction is lacking in the statement of submission, then such test will get fail. |
TEST 2 – Application start / stop behavior | |

STEPS For TEST | |
1 | Start the applications by selecting the icons or following the steps mentioned in the statement of submission, Then Navigate to the Task Manager and Test that the applications appear there. |

Now Close the applications for
the Task Manager. Then Exit from the Task Manager, and launch the
Task Manager again.
The applications should no longer display under the Task
Manager. |

Start the applications as from
Step 1. Visit the Task Manager to confirm that the applications
are executing.
The applications must display under the tool task manager. |

All application must have few way of validating that these are executing on the devices, though, and the developers should give this details. |
TEST 3 — Application Credential | |

1 | With the executing of application, Test the application name shown on the phones. The applications must show the similar name on the phones as stated while the submissions. |
2 | Note below the functionality of the applications as it executes on the device. The basic functionalities of the applications must match that announced during submissions. |

Step 1 doesn't applied to application which don't have a UIVoIP application must show a UI in order to pass this testing. |
TEST 4 — Voice Calls No disruption | |

STEPS For TEST | |
1 | With the installed application and executing the use of second phones to call the testing devices. The incoming call must be showen to the user on the testing devices. |
2 | Answering the calls on the testing devices. We must be capable to arrange a conversation with the other party without disturbance from the applications being got test. |
3 | In the normal way, Just End the call. On the testing device. The voice call must be completed. |
4 | So From the test devices, make a call to on the second phone. Answers the call from the another devices. The call must be pointed on both phones, and we must be capable to arrange a conversation with the another party without disturbance from the applications being got test. |
5 | Do the End voice call from the second device. The call must be finished from the both devices. |
6 | Now Place the testing call to the emergency number 112 from the devices.*Please Verify in related territory for the legal way to complete the testing calls through the emergency service. |

If the applications being got test, Then it has the MultimediaDDcapability, and has functionality of audio, then such functionality must be under use while such test is completed. Particularly, it should be tested that the audio from the applications are faded down to permit the user to listen the telephone call. VoIP application will require this running test using both the handset held to the ears of user and with the help of headset. The test need to execute with a VoIP call in progress, and the GSM incoming call should be declared with call awaiting tone. |
TEST 5 — No disruption to text messages | |

STEPS For TEST | |
1 | With the applications installation and execution, Send a text messages to the test devices. The incoming text messages must be identified to the users as per their setting of alert. |
2 | Now Read the text messages on the devices for test and select to reply. Send the reply. The reply must be got at the 2nd device. |
3 | From the screen of standby on the test devices, Navigate to the “new text messages” option and Then Make a new message. Send this messages to the 2nd device.The messages must be got at the 2nd device. |
TEST 6 — Auto-start behavior | |

1 | With the running applications, Go to on setting for the applications — either within the applications itself or from the setting option on the device. There must be options which permits the users to enable / disable the auto - start functionality. |
2 | Confirm that the setting for auto-start behavior is DE-activate, and then restart the device. The applications must not begin on boot device. |
3 | Now make the changes in the setting so that auto - start behavior is activated for the application and restart the phones. The applications must start when the phone start. |

If the applications don't have auto - start functionality, then this test doesn't require to be execute. |
TEST 7- Key Device Applications - No disruption | |

STEPS For TEST | |
1 | Confirm that the contact, messaging and calendar application are populated with records and begins the applications as in Test 2. After the applications have been installed and used, the data input into those applications must not be changed in any way without the awareness of user. |

With the execution of
application, navigate to the message applications and generate a
new message. Stored the messages to the draft folder and then
open and edited it.
Finally, deleted the messages
from the draft folder and delete a message from the inbox.
All of the above provided steps should be possible without
interference from the installed applications. |

If the applications, as part of stated functionality, perform the changes with user data then an exceptions can be claimed for. The functionality must be explained in the detailed with the applications and all record other than that explained in the user guide must remained un-touched as explained in the test cases. The data used in these test cases are also required for Test 8, so leave the record on the devices when proceeding straight forward under Test 8. |
TEST 8 — UN-install | |

STEPS For TEST | |
1 | First Stop the applications as described in Test 2 and un-install the applications using the system installer.The applications must be UN-installed without any exception. |

Following are the same steps as in
Test1, navigation to where We would like to see the applications
icons.The applications icons must not longer be available on the
devices.
If we used other way to validate the successful installation
in Test1 then use this way to confirm that the applications has
been un-installed. |

TEST 9 — Device Adaptation | |

Note: Following testing steps should be done twice — once with the SIM card in the devices and once without any sim. | |
