DVD Drives :
The most used drive in
any computer is DVD Drive, it is also known as DVD – ROM Drive as well. Its
main work is to read data from the DVD inserted in it, with that is runs the
data also. But it can’t burn the data because it is no so expensive.
DVD Writers :
One DVD write can read
or write both CD and DVD and can save data in it. If you are using MAC then you
should use Super Drive in place of DVD Writers. DVD Writers are more expensive
than the DVD Drives. Not just this DVD Writer is and external unit and you can
connect it easily to computer.
Combo Drives :
A combo drive can read
the data of both CD and DVD, But it can show the data of CD only and that is
why is it not so used. With that the decreasing rate of DVD, remove all the
chances of CD to rise up.
CD Drives :
One CD ( Compact Disc )
writer can read or show the data of CD but it neither read the data of DVD nor
able to show its data as well. The decreasing demand of CD Writer removes the

Blu – ray Drives :
It was discovered by
Sony Company and it is a special type of disk, which is mostly used to run the
play station 3 games. But now many computers come with this drives. It is
almost 10 times expensive than the 1 DVD Writer, still it is so popular because
you can see HD Videos and data with it.
How DVD Writer Works :
To use DVD Writer, you
need to put the DVD on its train and close it. As the DVD start running, a
laser light falls on it and reads all the data. Then it prepares the writer to
