It is very wonderful testing which require to be manage or perform to test the whether applications behave properly and correctly over the longer period of this time. For an example if we have an application that tested good and fine running. But will this run properly well ever after the noticeable amount of time like the 2 years, 4 years or ever after the 6 years? Really wonderful? So, will the applications remain stable and behaving properly and correctly after such extra time span?

So for test these conditions up to definite extent TBT gives with the Test called 'Application Stability' which gives the guideline for the test conducting. Such testing generally performed on emulator.

Following is the way to conduct this Testing:

To check the Stability of BREW Mobile Application Stability, Following are the Test Cases -:

Objective of Testing: To confirm and make sure that the application under testing is stable when running over the lengthy period of time.

  1. On our PC set the date for the next five years.
  2. Now Execute the Emulator.
  3. Conduct the exploratory testing for your applications.
  4. Functionality and the AUT screens require to Traverse
  5. Now time to Exit the Screen and application.


Result Output:
  1. Emulators doesn't report the leak of memory.
  2. Applications haven't undocumented time based behavior.

Note That: Time Setting forwarding will be evaluated for the time base behavior and the emulators will detects memory leak when the applications terminated. Motto is to practices the section of the code that may allocate the memory and or have time base behavior.
