the flag of the temple flows in the direction of wind but the red flag on Shree
Jagannath Puri Temple flows against the wind. Even science is unable to

other surprising thing about this flag is that a person climbs inverted on the
temple every evening and changes temple’s flag. It is said that if it does not
done then temple will be closed for 18 years.
3. Jagannath
Puri temple is constructed near the beach and according to science the wind
moves from ocean to land in morning and from land to ocean in evening. But the
direction of wind is reversed in Jagannath Puri Temple because wind moves
toward ocean in morning and towards temple in evening here.

there is Lord Vishnu or his incarnations and there is no Lord Hanuman, this can
never happen. It is said that sea tried to harm Jagannath Temple thrice. In
this situation, Lord Jagannath who is a form of Shri Krishna has appointed Lord
Hanuman to control the Sea. But Lord Hanuman entered the city every day to see
the Lord Jagannath and sea also entered the city behind him. So that, Lord
Jagannath had tied Hanuman Ji in gold chains on the beach of sea, so that he
